Linda Anderson, M.A., M.F.T.
Facilitator of Parenting with Love and Logic

Linda Anderson discovered Love and Logic when she found a single cassette tape entitled “Love Me Enough to Set Some Limits” in the back of a desk drawer at her previous job as Guidance Counselor at the International School Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies.  It made such brilliant common sense to her that she enrolled in the Love and Logic Institute summer training program, wanting to learn as much as she could about this powerful approach to working with kids of all ages.   After living and working in Trinidad for 9 years, Linda has returned to San Diego to bring this powerful and highly effective training to parents here.

Prior to her 5 years as a school Guidance Counselor in Trinidad, Linda spent 20 years as a California state licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice, working with families, couples, and individuals. Besides her Master of Arts in Counseling, she also has a Masters of Fine Arts, and taught art and art history for 8 years in private schools in California before returning for her counseling degree.

Linda has been married for 25 years, and she and her husband have a 20 year old daughter,  2 adult step-children, and a grandson.

“It’s been said that we teach that which we want to learn ourselves, and I wanted to learn to be the best possible parent, since I only had one chance at it. I have learned so much the past 5 years teaching Love and Logic to parents. And I am having more fun than I should be allowed to have.”
